1- Rights/Royalty System Projects:
With extensive experience in developing, implementation and improvement of key systems and databases our agency provides a service for the design, planning and execution of rights management projects. All too often Managers are not sure what rights have been sold or the availability of content rights due to inadequate reports and systems, this may cause sales to be missed. A recent project undertaken identified numerous errors in payment integrity, data flow processes and sales and distribution reporting which we resolved with a benefit to our client, highlighting that the achievements of a company not only depends on the efficiency of the organization but how its operational systems are maintained, knowledge shared and the data integrity monitored.
2- Audit / Financial Projects:
We have an excellent understanding of the requirements to undertake audit projects on behalf of content owners. It is important to undertake audits of distributors or sales agents of your content as in some situations control weaknesses are apparent with multiple manual processes therefore compromising the accuracy of representation of your revenue return share. Aspects of the agreements key contractual milestones between parties which would improve these controls are omitted therefore increasing the risk in under or over reporting of your revenue returns. These periodic reports provide better transparency and internal controls for both parties and enhance the working relationships providing for financial due diligence procedures to be implemented.
As we are an independent agency we avoid any conflict of interest that may arise from our audits by remaining objective in our reviews on behalf of our clients.
Fees:
Our fees are determined by the parameters identified when scoping the audit project such as the amount of content, audit duration, payment frequency, agreements and any other relevant documentation that may be pertinent to the existing arrangements.
